PSU Kinesiology Skiing and Snowboarding Courses Now Offered at Tussey Mountain!

ENROLLMENT IS VIA PENN STATE LIONPATH

The Penn State Kinesiology Department offers the following mixed-mode courses to undergraduate students at University Park: Kines 11 (Downhill Skiing) and Kines 12 (Snowboarding). Tussey Mountain and its snowsport instructors are used to help facilitate the on-snow portion of the course. Students are responsible for their own transportation. All students are required to wear a snowsports helmet during course instruction.

NOTE: having a PSU Kines registration does not mean you have a season pass. Registration for these courses includes a lift ticket valid on these days only. The lift ticket for Section 101 is good from 9am-2pm and the lift ticket for sections 102, 103, 104 and 105 is good from 4:30pm-9:30pm, so there is additional time to ski or ride before or after class.

This course takes place on either Monday (101), Tuesday (102), Wednesday (103), Thursday (104) or Saturday (105) sections.

Rates

Tuition: $240 (this is required for the class)

ADD: $140 (for lift tickets; no additional cost if student has a Season Pass)

ADD: $100 (for rental equipment if student does not have own equipment)
