  • What is TMAC?

The Tussey Mountain Alpine Collective is a NEW Ski Club at Tussey Mountain. The Club is designed to encompass and welcome everyone who enjoys our fantastic community ski hill. The Club incorporates members of TMART, the former Bald Knob Ski Club, Ski Patrol, Ski School, all mountain employees, and the General Public.

TMAC is a Social Club that benefits the Tussey Mountain Alpine Racing Team (TMART). Dues for TMAC go to TMART and help support the 501c3 organization. The building that hosts TMAC acts not only as a Social and Event space for Club Members, but also as the Competition Center for TMART (during home races), the TMART Coaches Office (second floor) and the fundraising Hub for TMART. The bottom line, TMAC is a fun Social Club that helps bring our Tussey Mountain community together while helping to facilitate the long-term goals and initiatives of TMART. Come join and be a part of a great Ski Club!

  • Who Runs TMAC?

TMAC is run by a Planning Committee that is a subcommittee of the TMART Board and includes a variety of TMAC members and Tussey backgrounds. The Committee organizes Social Events, Fundraising Events and the long-term goals of the Club.

  • Where is TMAC Located?

TMAC is located in the old Tussey Ski Club, which is above the ticket office by the T-bar loading area. The building has been hosting the Bald Knob Ski Club since the late 1980s. The two-story building has a deck out front for socializing and good times. The main portion of the building is used for warming up, booting up and hanging out. The upper floor of the building hosts the TMART coaching staff and timing equipment for home races. The building also links to a large back room which houses TMART U16, U18, and U21 Athletes. This back room also acts at the TMART video review center.

  • What does TMAC Do?

The Club has multiple purposes. First and foremost, the Club is intended to highlight the Community aspect of Tussey Mountain and focuses on the social aspects of skiing, which include friendships, good times, and of course Après. The Club is also an Events Center, hosting several Member events throughout the ski season. The underlining focus of the Club is to support the Tussey Mountain Alpine Race Team through membership dues, fundraising efforts, and volunteering for home races. This support is helping TMART achieve long-term goals and initiatives that in turn help the mountain and the skiing community.

  • What does Membership Include (and Not Include)?

Ability to Boot Up/Gear Up – Use the Club to get ready for a great day on the hill and of course a great place to de-boot when the day is done.

Warm Up – Use the Club to warm up on those cold days.

Social Events and Meeting – The Club acts as a place for members to socialize and enjoy with multiple annual Club functions.

Become a better Skier, Learn to Ski Gates – TMART coaches set Gates on pre-determined weekday afternoons throughout the year.

Get Involved in Our Community Hill – Volunteer and help TMART with home races.

No Gear Storage – Sorry, the Club does not allow Members to store gear overnight. All gear must be cleared out at the end of the day.

Can’t Bring Alcohol – Not that we don’t want our members to enjoy some beverages after a great day on the hill, but we are a community hill, and we support the mountain in every aspect. Let’s de-boot, warm up and head on over to the Tussey Bar for Après.

  • What is the Relationship between TMAC and TMART?

TMAC is run through TMART. Annual Dues for the Club are retained by TMART. The Social Club’s building hosts the TMART coaches’ office, and timing equipment, and acts as a hub for social and fundraising events that help grow TMART and mutually benefit our community ski hill.

  • How much does it Cost to Join?

For non-TMART members, the cost to join is $150 per ski year. Additional family members are $25. TMART members are automatically signed up for the Club when registering athletes for TMART. In other words, if you have an athlete(s) registered in TMART, you’re a member of TMAC, if you don’t, you’ll have to register to join.

  • Who Can Join?

TMAC is an all-encompassing social Ski Club that is open to anyone. Please consider joining, enjoy the Tussey Mountain community, and help TMART continue to grow and continue to be the preeminent USSA Ski Racing Club in Pa.

  • How can I Join TMAC?

Joining is easy. The first step is to email us and we will arrange Membership Payment with you either through Venmo or check. Easy.
