The face-melting mesmerizing journey through the golden era of psychedelic blues and the origins of the ‘jam band’ scene continues, as Rich Engler Presents Live Dead and Brothers coming to Tussey Mountain Amphitheatre on Friday, October 11th as part of the Happy Valley Music Series. General Admission tickets are $50 with some limited gold circle seats at $60 and will go on sale Thursday, August 1st at 9 am in celebration of Jerry Garcia’s birthday. Comprised of actual and legacy members from the extended Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers families, this exceptional ensemble is set to revive the timeless magic of the late 1960s and early 1970s, bringing fans an experience like no other and as a special treat, to anyone purchasing a ticket to the concert will receive a FREE special soundboard copy link to the concert.

HAPPY VALLEY MUSIC SERIES FAQs:

  • What CAN we bring inside the amphitheater? Chairs and/or blankets are recommended for seating and can be brought inside. There are limited chairs and picnic tables inside the amphitheater. A personal water bottle (one per person, max size = 32 oz.) carrying water is permitted, after which water will be sold inside the venue. You may also bring trays/Tupperware/or other items that may make carrying all of your food easier. Pop-up tents, umbrellas, and other shade creators are permitted but they must be set up along the east fence line or behind the access road (see a staff member at the gate for clarification) and they must be anchored to the ground securely.
  • What CAN’T we bring inside the amphitheater? Coolers and outside food & beverages are not permitted. Pets are not permitted. Weapons (firearms, knives, etc) are not permitted. Fireworks and other loud or bright objects are not permitted and may be subject to removal.
  • I bought Gold Circle tickets – will there be seating provided? No seating is provided, you must bring your own seating.
  • I bought tickets online – how will they be redeemed? Present your ticket(s) on your mobile device at the gate and they will be scanned for entry.
  • Can we purchase tickets at the gate? If there is not a sell-out, then tickets will be sold at the gate.
  • What food items will be available? Food trucks serving pizza, BBQ, and more will be available on site.
  • Is there a charge for parking? Parking is $10 per car – CASH ONLY. Cars and trucks only – no RV or camper parking is permitted unless approved by management.
  • Can we camp or park overnight? There is no camping at Tussey Mountain. In the event that a vehicle needs to be parked overnight, contact a staff member that evening for approval.
  • What is your kid policy? Children aged 6 and under are free with a ticketed adult.
  • What time does the parking lot open? The parking lot will open at 12:00 pm (noon) on Sunday, July 28
  • Can we leave the amphitheater to go to our vehicle and then come back? There is no re-entry for this concert. Once you are inside the amphitheater if you leave you will need to purchase or have another ticket to enter.
  • What if it rains? This is a rain-or-shine event.
