Fun Centre Staff
Keep us in mind for the spring, summer and fall, as we will be in need of assistance at the Fun Centre beginning in May 2024.
Go Karts Attendant
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor the go kart track
- Provide instruction and superior customer service by interacting and talking to customers.
- Driving a golf cart, go kart, and driving range picker
- Pushing go karts with and without people in them
- Perform a thorough safety check of the go karts and go kart track
- Move quickly to assist in accidents on the track
- Maintain a safe work area.
- Follow and perform all company and departmental policies and procedures i.e., punctuality, attendance, dress and grooming standards etc.
- Assisting the front desk staff member with tasks including, trash collection, collecting golf balls, answering the phone, and other various tasks.
- Answer guest questions by becoming familiar with the resort layout, products, and services, or by asking someone who can answer the guest’s questions.
Job Qualifications:
- No experience necessary, we train all summer staff members
- Must be 18+ to work with the go karts.
- Must be able to make quick decisions regarding safety.
- Must be physically capable of assisting guests by pushing go karts.
- Must be able to perform simple go kart maintenance (gas, tire changes).
- Must have stamina to stand outside in the summer environment for long periods of time
- May lift/push up to 40 lbs., assistance is available for heavy lifting.
- Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
- Must be willing to perform alternate functions from time to time.
